The Challenge:
A nationally known manufacturer of plastic products needed a domestic partner to help design and manufacture a commercial laundry cart to be released to a test market in relatively short period of time.

The Solution:
Their Manager of New Product Development and Principal Designer flew into town to meet with our design team. They brought with them a prototype mocked up from a piece of luggage and some hand sketches. After our first meeting we had a workable design developed which took into consideration cost and availability of suitable materials.

The Result:
Within 8 weeks of that first meeting there were 250 laundry carts delivered to various hotels for testing made from materials sourced from all around the world.

 

The Challenge:
A leading manufacturer of welding equipment had a newly developed portable welder for off road vehicles. They needed a tough bag that would hold the cables and torch immediately after it was shut off and still hot. They had a supplier in Pakistan but the pig skin bag didn’t look good and the delivery was unreliable.

The Result:
Our designer found a domestic material that did a better job and made a very professional looking product. We added a molded label with the manufacturer’s logo all at a competitive price. We work with this customer so they receive the product just in time solving their delivery issues and reducing their amount of on hand inventory.

The Challenge:
A medical device manufacturer in the mid west had a problem using positioning pads with their diagnostic coils on MR imaging machines. Thick cables had to run under the pads preventing patient comfort and stability which is very important for image quality.

The Solution:
Our engineer designed channels in the bottom of the foam pad for the cables to run thru. He supplied necessary drawings to the foam converters and created patterns for the new fabric cover needed for the pad.

The Result: A pad that provided the patient comfort and stability needed for MR imaging, that was designed, prototyped, documented and manufactured all in our facility.
